Voici une voix que j'aime beaucoup, Erin McCarley et son album (Lovesick Mistake) m'enchante toujours autant, et ce après de nombreuses écoutes. Je trouve sa voix très douce et agréable à écouter... Et son physique ne gâche rien à l'affaire, pour ces messieurs... ;o)
Parfait pour un dimanche après midi d'automne...

Mark Knopfler (et donc Dire Straits) reste "MON" groupe de référence. Pour l'avoir écouté toute mon adolescence, et apprécié la musique en grande partie grâce à lui, parce qu'il m'a donné le goût des belles chansons, aux splendides riffs si envoûtants, parce que ses poésies mises en musique m'ont fait planer bon nombre de fois, parce qu'il a fait de si belles illustrations musicales de films, parce que Mark Knopfler reste pour moi (avant Clapton, désolée ^^) LE guitariste... Le voici donc évidemment ici...

Il n'y figurait pas encore alors qu'il est à l'origine de mes toutes premières émotions musicales... Voici une omission réparée. Je continue, même bien des années après, àl'apprécier et à ressentir toujours ce même frisson à entendre sa voix et ses doigts glisser sur les cordes...

Ce sera donc une de mes préférées (mais il y en a tant !!)...

Après les avoir vus le mois dernier à la Maroquinerie, pour un concert absolument génial, avec une ambiance très joyeuse et sympathique, les voilà sur la radio rock, juste pour poursuivre le plaisir...

Découverte, au détour du net, et coup de coeur pour cette chanson... (par ailleurs entendue dans "Little Miss Sunshine...)
Je ne connaissais pas ce groupe, pas plus que sa musique, mais cela me rappelle les ambiances à la Sigur Ros, en plus "easy listening" mais vraiment pas mal...

Susie Suh, à ma connaissance, n'a sorti (hélas) qu'un seul album, mais que j'ai tant écouté qu'il est impossible qu'il ne figure pas ici. Si vous souhaitez que la musique du jour bouge comme celle d'hier, passez votre chemin, car là, je suis dans un tout autre style, beaucoup plus doux et tout en émotions. Sa voix me transporte à chaque fois, et je trouve ses chansons très parlantes... J'aime autant sa voix que les harmonies qui l'accompagnent...
Impossible de trouver quoique ce soit d'elle en clip officiel sur You Tube, alors je mets cette chanson qui reflète assez bien le ton de sa musique...
